About Candidate

Hnin Hayman Nyein is a dedicated and ambitious individual with a strong educational background and a passion for physics. Having pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics followed by diplomas and advanced degrees in Applied Physics and Physics, respectively, she has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning. Currently engaged in ongoing research focusing on the synergistic effect of 2D metal iodides for thermoelectric generators, Hnin's research interests span across various areas including ceramic processing, nanostructured metal-oxide thin films, superconductors, and materials synthesis and characterization. Her previous work experiences as a teaching staff member at the University of Yangon further underscore her dedication to both academic pursuits and sharing knowledge. Hnin's contributions to the field, as evidenced by her MRes thesis on the design and construction of a CNC machine and her MSc thesis on the characterization of zinc oxide nanoparticles, highlight her versatility and commitment to advancing scientific understanding. With a certificate in upskilling program for freshly appointed tutors and demonstrators, she is well-equipped to continue making significant contributions to the field of physics and beyond.
